Hello.
I have a general question about water pumps.
My TDI is approaching 180,000 km (approximately 112,000 miles). Now it's time for another timing belt replacement. Should I replace the water pump at the same time?
Are there any known lifespans or typical durations for these products?
"Well, that sounds like a bit of work. I might as well replace the pump while I'm at it."

Hi Charly,
Change it out!
There have been cases where the timing belt didn't last its expected lifespan or replacement interval.
survived.
Best regards,
Rudi
