Hello and have a wonderful day.

I have a question about the VAG Com 303. I'm getting the error code "Brake pedal monitoring: Implausible signal." This error is annoying because the glow plug indicator keeps flashing. Can anyone offer some advice?
It's an Audi 80 B4 1Z, manufactured in 1995.

Your first post and a flat six (meaning a failing grade).

Maybe check the switch sometime?

"Thank you for the six Matthias, but unfortunately, this hasn't resolved my problem yet. So, I've re-examined both switches, cleared the error memory, and after a test drive of 3 kilometers, the glow plug indicator started blinking again. When I read the error codes with VAG COM, it showed the same "brake pedal sensor - implausible signal." Now, the same type of switch is mounted on the clutch pedal. Could that be related? It's a bit difficult to get used to diesel technology when you've only worked on gasoline engines for 20 years."

Best regards, Thomas.

"By the way, a friend of mine has a Golf TDI with a 1Z engine, and I noticed that his car has significantly more power than my Audi, even though both have 90 horsepower. Okay, the Golf is a bit lighter."

Best regards, Thomas.

...have you already used the search function?
Check brake lights and wiring (if OK, replace the switch for €25 at VW).

Darius.

Widacquired?

Best regards, Thomas.

Test and compare with VCDS.

Is it correctly configured after the change?

Could you please specify which errors you are encountering? Also, I would appreciate it if you could update to a more recent version. This is free for registered customers, and all unregistered users can download a more current version 311 or 409 as shareware. Therefore, there is no reason to use such an old version. Once you have updated, please read the error memory again and post the *entire* contents here, ideally using an auto-scan or at least the "copy/save error" function.
