Is it normal that the power delivery mainly develops in 2nd gear, starting around 1200 RPM at full throttle, and behaves like this: So, full throttle --> the vehicle accelerates moderately (I think my AJM is more agile up to that point). Around 2200 RPM, the power delivery drops very briefly (like a short jerk). Then, it pulls with full power all the way to the rev limiter.
This behavior occurs in almost every gear, but it is most noticeable in the 2nd gear. When accelerating under partial load, you don't feel anything unusual, except that it feels a bit sluggish at low RPMs.
@Dieselmartin
Hi, are you also driving one of those vehicles?
(PS: 6-speed manual transmission. The error memory is clear.) 3B5 AJM

More or less, yes...
While "minimal" might work better, eventually there will be a problem if you don't want to constantly regenerate the DPF.
Using VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry) allows for building up boost pressure earlier, but it could still be optimized slightly. However, this is only possible as long as the back pressure from the added DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) isn't too high, otherwise the turbocharger will start to "pump," meaning it will start working against itself.
Best regards, Rainer.

I don't quite understand why the power delivery is being interrupted. The car momentarily loses power at the specified RPM, which feels like a sudden stall.
Should that really be normal, and that he feels very weak in the lower part of his body?

Sometimes it seems as if that is the rule and everything else is the exception .

Hi,
Sorry, I misread your post, "up to 2200 rpm"... }
I haven't noticed any holes in the middle of any of the customer vehicles.
Best regards, Rainer.

No.
I don't have a hole in the middle either.
If you run it at full throttle without any turbo boost and at low RPMs, it barely produces any power at first, then it starts to increase, and increase... When it's allowed to inject enough fuel, it really starts to deliver. But it's constantly _increasing_, never decreasing.
It's only when it's in the regeneration phase that it behaves strangely. Because then it stops the fuel injection at a certain load, which can cause some jerking. Similarly, even though you're letting off the gas (or easing off), it feels like it's still giving you more power.

Okay, then it's probably a matter of the warranty. A friend of mine only bought the last week.
Thank you for your participation. 3B5 AJM

Recently acquired?
Then it's a used item, right?
Because the current 125 kW model is a CR and is no longer called BMR, but rather CABA (or something similar).

Okay, the car is 3 years old and has 45,000 km on the odometer. Immediately after the test drive, I got back into my AJM, and I have to say that the AJM feels more powerful and drivable in the lower, "economical" RPM range (up to 2,000 RPM) compared to the BMR. It's a shame, because otherwise the BMR is really good, but unfortunately, it's not really economical to drive. By the way, what kind of fuel consumption is possible in the city and on the highway under normal conditions, so that driving is still enjoyable? Currently, the consumption is at 7.5 - 7.8 liters. 3B5 AJM

I used to have two Golf 2 cars with naturally aspirated diesel engines, and then I had a Golf 3 Variant with a TDI engine.
I could usually drive all three cars however I wanted, and they always had the same fuel consumption.
The BMR (fuel consumption) is extremely dependent on driving style. It can range from below 5 to over 11, and that's the average consumption, it should be noted.
In the city, the average fuel consumption (MFA) is often in the double digits. On the highway, driving at a constant speed in warm weather can achieve a fuel consumption of 5.0 liters per 100 kilometers without having to hide behind trucks.
On the highway, the fuel consumption is approximately (km/h) / 20 - so 6 liters at 120 km/h, 7 liters at 140 km/h, and so on.
My average fuel consumption after 40,000 km is 6.9 liters per 100 km. During my 3,000 km vacation trips in France, I achieved an average of 6.1 liters per 100 km.
"In the winter, I use 205/55 R16 tires, and in the summer, I use 235/45 R17 tires. However, the summer tires are much more comfortable to drive on and don't show any increase in fuel consumption."
What software does the BMR use?
I've already installed the third version (0420, then 1184, and now 1881).
It's already number 4369.
They all made a noticeable difference for me.
Even my seemingly random switch to a different brand of tires at 37,000 miles resulted in a noticeable reduction in fuel consumption.
