Hello everyone,

Here is a preliminary evaluation of the TDI statistics. All data available up to 10 AM today (40 vehicles) have been included, minus some details that I have requested personally and for which I am still awaiting responses. I will incorporate these when I provide the next update. Therefore, I would like to reiterate the request to post any further data as a reply in the other thread (/viewtopic.php?t=2728&start=25&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=), as the more input we have, the better the statistics will be.

Please only post comments here, and post new data on the other side. This makes it easier and more organized.

Okay, now let's get to the table... Darn... for some reason, the HTML isn't working.

Therefore, it's "just" a link: http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~richling/tmp/mkb.html

It's certainly not a masterpiece in terms of graphics, but that's because it's just an intermediate evaluation...

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"Erklaerungen dazu:"
"Explanations about it:"

Engine: clear.
Quantity: Number of posters featuring the engine.
km: Total weighted kilometers.
Months: Sum of weighted months.
minor: sum of minor damages.
severe: sum of the severe damages.
km/age total: Sum of all data related to the car.
km/month - refers to the rated time... it's interesting what we're driving icon_wink.gif
Remaining: Damages calculated based on time and kilometers, with each calculation specific to the individual's usage.

Best regards,

Jan.

Hello Jan,

You should convert the absolute values into relative values per engine.
Average mileage and average age, etc.
You can't do anything with absolute values like a few million kilometers.

Best regards, Albrecht.

Hi Albrecht,

"Good idea, I'll include that in the next version as well. The current version is meant to show an intermediate status, and also be close enough to the raw data so that you can still see enough of it to work with and calculate things. I'm also not entirely sure what exactly is truly good and relevant, which is why I've included the different analyses by kilometer and year."

"1.4 million km with the 1Z is still quite impressive, isn't it?"

Best regards,

Jan.
