Hello!
For the T5 GP, there are no covers on the cylinder head. There is plenty of space between the hood and the engine; a hood would likely not cause any problems here. Only the air hose runs diagonally across the cylinder head. However, only the developer can probably assess the aerodynamics in the engine compartment. The turbo is located very low, between the engine block and the injection nozzle, followed immediately by the particulate filter. But there is so much space that you could comfortably step through with both legs on either side

. Therefore, there is enough airflow.
The lower engine protection plate is the same for all T5 GPs. The hood is already factory-fitted with a cover. There is a piece of molded foam between the valve cover and the fuel injection lines, so a little bit has been done

. However, the ticking sound of the injectors is quite audible.
As I mentioned before, I have a valve cover from another 2.0 CR engine. While it also has the opening for the oil filler cap on the right side, the position of that opening probably won't fit either. The ball mounts for the rubber buffers of the valve cover bracket are present on the cylinder head cover, but on the transmission side, this ball mount has already been "repurposed" for the bracket of a hose. The other two mounting balls can be installed later, but the valve cover will need to be modified/cut to fit. I've decided to go with a valve cover that has air vents.
Let's see what's possible. If the acoustics don't improve, this thing will be immediately removed

.
Greetings,
Peter.
