I'm having a small problem with a Roomster, manufactured in February 2008, with approximately 60,000 km on the odometer. Engine: 1.4i with 63 kW (BXW).
The speedometer maxes out at around 120 km/h. Maybe you can reach 140 km/h going downhill. However, it's officially registered for a top speed of 170 km/h. The error memory does not contain any meaningful information (mixture occasionally too lean - occurred once).
Oh yes, the vehicle has been converted to run on autogas, but it has the same problem with gas as it does with gasoline. The compression of all cylinders is between 13 and 14 bar.
Does anyone here have any ideas?
Ah yes, the accelerator pedal potentiometers are changing simultaneously.
My wife's car once had the floor mat slip under the gas pedal.
Does the accelerator pedal position reading in the relevant measurement block correspond to "full throttle"?
Unfortunately, I hadn't posted my result yet: The catalytic converter at the manifold had dissolved, thus clogging the second catalytic converter .
Conclusion: Both CATs are defective (could no longer be blown out).
It's working again now.
