The new coolant additive differs from its predecessor, G12, in color as well.
The new G12 plus antifreeze additive is "purple" in color.

The new coolant additive is fully compatible and can be mixed without any issues with existing coolant additives G11 and G12.

The following color changes may occur when mixing:

G11 (color: green) with G12 plus (color: purple).
Depending on the percentage of mixing, the color darkens slightly.
The color tone only becomes apparent when the amount of the coolant is significant.
G12 (red) combined with G12 plus (purple).
The color tone of an additive becomes noticeable starting at approximately 30% concentration.
