It's unbelievable how easy it is for admins to just close threads, simply because someone isn't 'smart' enough or doesn't know what they're doing! And I don't want to read dozens of pages, because someone who knows this could also read it and help me, but no...

Anyone seeking advice here gets it for FREE!
Why people criticize those who provide this help is beyond my understanding.

@NicNac318:
What are you doing with your repair shop when it can't find the problem for a LOT of money? Are you showing up with a rocket launcher, or something?

@Rainer, Michael II etc.:
Recently, I was also a bit annoyed by the fact that certain topics were being closed without explanation.
But I thought your approach today was completely fine. There were tips and hints on 'Search' (I can't hear that word anymore). That's how I find it right.
The problem, in my opinion, is that the search function is not well-integrated into the forum layout.
She should be thick and radiant, shining brightly in dazzling light (slightly exaggerated).

Damn, how did that guy even manage to register?

I gave 2 tips, which might be the cause! You can find the function of the AGR in the article or in various postings.

Ulf has extensively described the loading pressure system and troubleshooting in various articles.

Regarding the described problem, the search function finds approximately 90 threads. Reading makes you smarter.
How the AGR or intercooler/charge pressure system was checked is not mentioned at all.

Then, to aggressively stomp and stupidly spout "who knows?" while one actually only needs to read! You don't need advice, you need a {PROFESSIONAL}!

Should I come over and fix your trash cart for free? Rude!!!

Tie the leash before my collar bursts!

PS: This mess will be deleted in the future. The search function and my 100MB database space are really too small!

Okay, to be completely honest:

a search for 'performance loss' yields 192 results.

In the wonderful forum 'troubleshooting and instructions', there is an article about 'common causes of errors' (which is also found when searching for 'performance loss'), in which your symptoms are exactly described...

and now you're coming at me and making a fuss because I'm being accused of causing a problem due to a standard error, and you're pointing to the technical articles that contain all the necessary information for troubleshooting and fixing the error.

You should quickly get down on the carpet or be a troll!

See you, Gremlin

[Translating...]hallo zusammen,

This is really annoying, I want this feature to be removed, and the search function and my 100MB database space are really too small!

I strongly advocate for the 'simply delete' approach in cases of blatant and unqualified attacks. While this may further antagonize individuals like NicNac, it's also important to expect a certain level of discipline from newcomers on the forum. And this keeps the forum verschandeln from annoying threads and benefits the community as a whole.

@Rainer: How would you phrase the notice in the terms and conditions/FAQ in the following way:
'1. Read,
2. Read,
3. Read,
4. Post only after. '
(possibly more specific with reference to the articles or directly to troubleshooting & instructions. Most beginner questions are already clarified in these 11 (!) articles.) 'Only then should the search be initiated and only then should it be posted.')

Every user is bound by the terms of service and should not complain if their posts are otherwise blocked/deleted.

Greetings
Private

It might be that you don't always find what you're looking for using the search function - this has also happened to me, BUT:

A forum thrives on the experiences shared by its users. That doesn't always mean the same thing, which is why we discuss it...

But: One can reasonably expect that everyone should familiarize themselves with the basics before criticizing a Sysop.

If it were my forum, I wouldn't just delete the nonsense, but I would send a Terminator if I could - I am trying to read everything that is written here, but sometimes it screams for 'COMPENSATION FOR PAIN'.

Rainer & Co.: Get rid of the mess before I have to read it...

Note: The tone sets the music!
And many of those who are willing to take a big risk here without outside help cannot distinguish between the ESP and the ABS!
