Does the infamous balancing wave module with the oil pump, which is found in the 2.0 PD engines with eight-valve technology in the Sharan/Alhambra, also exist in the Passat 3C with the same engine?

It states that this affects all PD engines in the Passat, which I don't quite understand, because, for example, the 1.9 engines (as far as I can remember) don't have this balance shaft module and therefore only have an oil pump chain drive without a hexagon icon_confused.gif.
