ContiTech AKE 2.5 TDi Timing Belt Kit

Hello everyone,

I have a timing belt replacement coming up soon.

However, I'm not happy with either the price from the dealer, which is about 1000 EUR all-inclusive, nor the 480 EUR for the parts (including the water pump) without the ribbed belt.

My question: Where can I get the ContiTech set for the AKE engine? Or, if it's not available, should the ribbed belts be replaced? Even Audi workshops are not clear on this.

Thank you, and please refrain from comments suggesting that if someone can afford an AKE 2.5 TDi in an A4, they can also afford to pay the cost of replacing it.
