I mistakenly overwrote my ABS module code with an incorrect value and didn't save the original. Where can I find the original code, or who can help me?

Audi A6, manufactured in July 2000, Quattro, 2.5 TDI, 132 kW.

VAG part number for the ABS control unit: 8D0 907 389 E.

Starting with version 404.0, you can find the file 'CodingLog.txt' in the debug directory, which contains all the coding changes you have made (including the original values). icon_smile.gif

Hello edazer,

Yes, it has ESP and Tiptronic.

Hello UWE,

I still have the VW tool from DRV. I think it's time for you to buy the latest version of VAG-COM.

Thank you!

Thank you, edazer. This forum is where the experts are.

I've just come to the same conclusion.

07557

from left to right:

I don't know about 07.
5 Brake FN3
5 6-cylinder TDI.
7 Tiptronic.

Here, I've also found something.

http://1.8t.org/~quattroman/Audi%20B5%2097-2001/Suspension%20Wheel%20and%20Brakes/Brakes/Brake%20System%20OBD/01-217%20ESP%20Bosch%205.3.pdf

Can you explain why the first two digits are different on pages 24 and 26?

What are the values for the login code and the code itself?

'With my old VW tool (the predecessor to VAG-COM), I can change the code and it displays the change, but it doesn't save the new setting.'

I guess I'll have to find a VAG 1551.
