Measurement data blocks in the control unit?

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if there might be a list or even a book that explains the individual measurement blocks, from 1 to 256 or beyond.
I mean this applies to other control units as well, not just the engine control unit.

Welches Fahrzeug? Part numbers?

There are no general lists available, but it is sometimes possible to create lists specific to certain control units.

I need the list for a Golf IV Cabrio, model year 2001.

Specifically, which control units and which part numbers?

That's a bit more concrete, but it's still not really exciting. icon_wink.gif

If you want us to help you, you need to provide specific information by reading out and posting the part numbers using VAG-COM.

and 1.9L R4 EDC G00SG 1438.

and I also need the corresponding labels in German (for the 409.1 shareware version), and a small instruction on where I need to copy them (I'm an IT novice icon_redface.gif).

Best regards,

@ Sunny

icon_evil.gif Please use the search function.

"Label files" can get you surprisingly far.

including, among other things, the file being searched for.

Where does it go: It's quite complicated... to the other label files, where else would it go?

I don't know what the f*ck it was.

What to do with it: It's quite complicated... put it with the other label files, where else would it go.

It is recommended that you save/copy your own/additional files to the '/labels/user/' subdirectory within the VAG-COM folder, unless otherwise specified. This folder is searched first, before the folder for the specific distribution and the main '/labels/' directory.

028 906 021 EK

http://download.openobd.org/labelfiles/02-01.lbl
http://download.openobd.org/labelfiles/german/028-906-021-AFN.lbl

The file for the AFN has been lying around for a while, but no one has asked for it yet.

@Rainer, I took the liberty of partially using your target values.

It's quite possible that the 409.1 error is occurring due to a problem with the redirection.
This issue was fixed in a later version, and there are no problems with version 500.x.

Possibly, therefore, rename the actual label file accordingly.

...and I would also need appropriate labels in German (for the 409.1 shareware version)...

For the engine control unit (ECU), see above. Which other parts do you need?

...and a small guide on where I need to copy and paste it (I'm an IT novice icon_redface.gif)

Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate.
