Does the injection timing of the ESP need to be readjusted after replacing the injector (the one with the needle lift control)?
will (Audi 80 TDI, 1Z)?
I would definitely want to monitor the start of the injection!
By the way, a suitable support bracket can usually be found with the PD components. When discussing the Vp37-Tdi, we are talking about the start of injection.
"Foerderbeginn" was also a term used for the old turbo-powered tractors as well.
Because the only thing you could adjust was when the pump would activate.
"With VP37 TDIs, this can also be adjusted, but the injection timing is measured using the injector on the 3rd cylinder." Cylinders, specifically the ones that use a needle movement sensor (also called a needle travel sensor, although that term is actually incorrect).
Technically accurate, but linguistically confusing.
I completely confirmed what you said, so "I'm sticking to my guns" doesn't quite fit in this context.
Or do you feel like I was trying to dissuade you from your opinion?
For everyone:
VP37: Injection start and N-axis movement error.
P.S.: A needle-based displacement sensor would provide precise information about the actual displacement, but as far as I know, these are only used in research.
The NBF of the 1Z only reports that the needle is moving, not how much it is moving.
