Hi.
I'm planning to get a complete exhaust system from Supersprint, but I'm facing a problem. I own a Golf IV 100 HP TDI, and I'm looking for a downpipe from the turbo (without a catalytic converter). I found something here http://www.mitcom2.com/supersprint/a_prodotti.asp?modello=vwgol49, but that pipe is only for the 115 HP model. Now I'm wondering if it will fit on my car? Does the 100 HP engine have a different pipe diameter than the 110 and 115 HP engines? There is a similar pipe available for the 90 HP model, but not for my 100 HP model. Can anyone recommend a good complete exhaust system for my TDI PD? THANK YOU.

Hi King,

Without getting into the usual moral lecture about omitting the "Kats" (a German term with potentially offensive connotations), I think you know what you're getting into.
I wonder how that's done?
In the picture, you can see a pipe that is intended to replace the cat (catalytic converter).
i.e., from the turbocharger to the next pipe.
This pipe, however, doesn't have any flexible sections like the standard exhaust pipe. I'm now wondering how it will handle the vibrations, which the TDI engine produces quite significantly.
Based on the cross-section, it should fit.

Greetings,
Thomas.

@Animalking
Okay, let's be direct: Why don't you ask the manufacturer of the exhaust pipe and spare us your posts?

My patience has run out. Sorry, please find another place to play.

Rainer.
