As described in the technical article, to reduce turbo lag, one should remove the restriction in the intake path.

Since I'm interested in things like that, I would definitely like to try it icon_exclaim.gif.

Does anyone have suggestions and pictures on the best way to do this on a Golf 4 (AGR) icon_question.gif (It shouldn't be too noticeable)?

Hello? Did you read the technical article? And then that question... I probably won't understand. Doesn't it mention larger intake channels to the air filter, and does it refer to the Ibiza Cupra TDI, which has them? So, you'll need larger components for a Golf.
I'm not sure what you've installed, but as far as I know, the intake manifolds of all Golfs (specifically, the TDI models) are identical. The only difference is that the mass airflow sensor can be found in a larger diameter, but that wouldn't help in your case, as the bottleneck remains the turbocharger inlet. Therefore, only a larger intake manifold would make a difference... So, you probably built it yourself, which is why it's so noticeable.

Yes, I read the article and hopefully understood it!

Has anyone built something like this themselves icon_question.gif?

As I mentioned in the first article, I would like to see some pictures of it.
