Hello,

I spent a good amount of time searching yesterday, but unfortunately, I didn't find anything.

Okay, I'm interested in VAG-COM.
I'm afraid I don't know which version it is.

What is the main difference between a hobbyist and a professional?
"Also, which one would you recommend buying from your shop?"

For now, the focus will be on reading and potentially modifying the data from Seat Leon 1M, 1P, and Seat Ibiza 6L (latest model).

Sure, here's the translation:

"Thank you in advance."

Best regards.

Andre.

Hello Andre,

All current diagnostic systems are supplied with VAG-COM version 607.3 (in testing, available for download soon).
The differences lie in the hardware.
The semi-professional systems are available with the following physical interfaces:
- KKL (K-Line)
- CAN (all models based on the Golf 5 platform + new vehicle models)

The professional systems are available with the following physical interfaces:
- KKL + CAN (covers the widest range of vehicles)

For the vehicles you mentioned, the professional system KKL+CAN would be suitable, as the 1P uses CAN, while the 1M and 6L use K-Line.

There are no differences in functionality between the USB and RS232 models; the only difference is the connector used to connect to the PC.

Which VCDS should I buy?

Hmm, I was almost expecting that.

Okay, I don't even need to do any calculations.
For a semi-professional version, it would have been sufficient, but the professional version is still a bit more expensive.

Okay, I did it.
I bought a set on eBay *g* icon_lol.gif.

Okay, just kidding.

I just ordered the Pro System from the online shop and paid on delivery.

Let's see if it arrives by Tuesday.

Hi,

Thank you for your order! Unfortunately, it won't be possible until Tuesday; the current hardware delivery from Ross-Tech is delayed.
It should be ready by the end of the week.

Best regards, Rainer.

I picked up the money today.
and I already know my first assignment location.

My little lion is being naughty.
It occasionally has starting problems if it has been standing for a few hours.
On the first attempt, nothing works, but on the second attempt... Immediately.

Hi, I just wanted to ask about the status of my order.
Is the merchandise already out?

And another question: Is it possible to read out the system voltage of the vehicle using VAG-COM?

Hi,

The current order status will be automatically communicated by the shop, provided that the email address provided is correct.
Fortunately, the hardware arrived today, so all affected shipments will go out tomorrow.
Yes, you can find the on-board voltage, for example, in the measurement blocks within the engine control unit.

Best regards, Rainer.
