Hello, experts.
Is it possible to install a turbocharger from an S4 onto an A4? I assume that the power would then kick in a bit later? Or am I wrong?
Could I possibly replace the VTG with a loader?
It's just a thought, as I might be able to get one cheaply.
Thank you for your opinions.

Hi,
I'm only certain that the turbochargers from the PD engines with 130 hp and 150 hp (VNT17 & 20) will fit on the AFN engine. I don't think it will be that easy to get the turbocharger to fit properly.
Regards,
arne

A gasoline turbocharger is not compatible with a diesel engine.

That's not going to work.
What would be the point of that?
It certainly doesn't offer any significant performance improvements, or very little.
I have a VNT-17 turbo installed on my AFN engine, but it's also running .216 injectors, a different intake manifold, a Gruppe-A exhaust, a carbon dynamic airbox, and a hardcore chip, etc. That requires a lot more airflow.
But with the standard AFN or a standard chip, it's pointless.
