Which one is for the EDC?

Is it the blue one on the flange with the glow plugs, or the black one on the coolant hose to the radiator?

According to my Etzold book, the blue one is for [something], but what is the black one for?

Due to my idle vibration problem, I want to measure the resistance of all the EDC sensors.

It's ridiculous that I spent almost €300 at Audi and Bosch, and they couldn't find anything wrong!

One of the sensors is for the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and one is for the instrument cluster (IC). Simply disconnect one at a time and observe the IC display. If the display remains unchanged, you've found the sensor for the ESC.

The connector has 4 pins, so 2 wires are used for the EDC (Electronic Data Carrier).
and the other two are for the combo.
The thermostat is blue or green and sits vertically inside a water hose connected to the cylinder head.

You can also read the temperature from the measurement block to check if the value is plausible.
