V6 Engines: Specs & Performance Data

Hello.

After hitting my air conditioning unit against the housing of the cat during an inspection, I noticed this rattling noise.
Two hours later, it was gone again. Has anyone had experience with this? Are there any disadvantages or risks associated with it, such as a loss of performance or reduced turbocharger lifespan? If so, is there anything I can do to mitigate those issues?
