Hallo, I have a Powerbox that I think is set too high. In any case, I always get an error when I use it, and the motor goes into emergency mode.
I opened the box and I found a small screw.
how much do I need to turn them and for how long?

is a golf 3 with 1z

Given the extremely precise description of the box here, my tip is:
Try it with a quarter to 4 turns to the right or left icon_twisted.gif

also es steht ASA-Tuningbox drauf also wirklich keine markenfirma
na gut dann werde ich das mal versuchen oder jetzt vielleicht noch ne andere idee

Dreh das Ding in beide Richtungen bis zum Anschlag und schreib Dir dabei die Umdrehungen in jede Richtung auf (Achtung: Spindelpotis haben u.U. keine Anschläge, sondern drehen am Ende durch und klicken dabei ganz leise 1 x pro Umdrehung).

Dann drehst du den Regler in die Mitte zwischen beiden Anschlägen und bekommst dann beim Probefahren immerhin schon mal einen Vergleich . . .

[Translating...]also ich habe nach links gedreht da kommt die lampe auch, wenn ich nach rechts drehe gehts er fasst aus im stand und lampe ist auch an, also wenn dann nach links aber nen klacken höre ich nicht,
es ist ein tuningkit von Autotechnik Saretz.

Hab mir mal die HP angesehen. Die Abbildung der Box sieht eigentlich nicht nach dem allergrößten Mist aus.
Daher vermute ich, daß sich die Box sofort oder zu früh einschaltet (anstatt den RWG-Check abzuwarten) und somit einen Schuß hat -> reparieren lassen oder wegschmeißen.

With the diagnostic device, it's like this:
Open the engine control unit with VAG-COM. The block with the measurement value on channel 7 or 8 will display the fuel temperature. Rotate the screw until the temperature reaches the maximum value (approximately 125°C). If you continue to rotate, an ERROR will appear on the display. (Clear the error memory). At 110°C, everything is optimal for me. I also have no error messages in the summer. Best regards, gagag

You are apparently describing the adjustment of a PD temperature fake box.

[Translating...]habe mich mit der firma in kontakt gesetzt und der typ meinte solle mal 2 umdrehungen nach rechts machen und das werde ich jetzt auch machen mal sehen immerhin ist schon kein fehler mehr im speicher*g*
