ECU Not Available: Troubleshooting & Solutions

Hello, I'm not able to access all control units with my diagnostic cable (Key-USB Dual-K).
"The combination instrument and comfort control unit are not responding. I can access the engine control unit and ABS. My car is a G3 Variant (GRA, window lifters, central locking) MBK ALE. I've used the search function but haven't found anything."
Use VCDS (formerly VAG-COM) 5124.

Then you haven't searched thoroughly enough.

The AI system in the G3 is not connected to the diagnostic system at all. Furthermore, the G3 doesn't even have a comfort control unit.
