My problem: About a week ago, my Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI (year 1997, 66 kW) suddenly started to jerk. A few days later, the power dropped as if the turbo was defective (limp mode?), and the check engine light comes on intermittently. After restarting the car, the problem is temporarily resolved for about a minute, then it happens again.
When the engine was cold, there were no problems; when it reached operating temperature, it started to misfire, with a loss of power, and the glow plug indicator light came on.
