Usually, the usual things.
Old loader out, new loader in, and a nice invoice to write.
In my (similar) case, they would probably have installed the original charger with the small membrane again, which would have meant I would have experienced the same problem again after another approximately 30,000 kilometers.
And that's despite the fact that the newer TDI models have a larger membrane housing that fits perfectly onto the older turbocharger.
However, it appears that VW is either unable or unwilling to create the corresponding repair instructions.
Well, it's understandable - this way you can still rip off a few more people (even the persistent ones multiple times
