Hello everyone.

If, for example, the turbocharger boost pressure is incorrect, the control hoses are often suspected – and yet frequently overlooked, as the magnetic valve is often replaced first.

Is there any interest in schematic diagrams of the hose routing for the 1Z / AHU or AFN engines, along with brief descriptions of common failure patterns?
"Can symptoms Y and Z occur if hose X is leaking?"

If so, I could put together something as a "white-noise-how-many-th" type of article – provided that Rainer still has space on the servers icon_rolleyes.gif.

Hi Ulf!

As a driver of a 1Z vehicle, I can only ask you to put your offer into action...
It would certainly be a valuable addition, and it wouldn't come cheap.

Possibly, I could contribute a plan for the AFB (Air Force Base).

Hello.

Since Rainer apparently still has some space on the servers, I'll put something together soon.

Post07-01-2003, 18:34    Subject: Wastegate Solenoid Connections: How To Connect? Quote

Hello to all 1Z, AHU, and other wastegate owners.

I need the hose connection designations on the turbocharger control solenoid valve for the wastegate system plan.

For the AGR valve, the labels should be VAC, ATM, and OUT... Can anyone tell me what the corresponding labels should be for the other valve?

Or are the connections at the end not labeled icon_question.gif?

Hello.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about the 1Z solenoid valve.

Therefore, the article about the hose incident is now "live" online.

Hi Ulf,

"There's nothing printed on my solenoid valve! The connections are correct according to the technical article (I have the repair manual)."

Best regards, Christian.

Hi Christian,

Ah, so the wastegate image is actually complete icon_smile.gif.
I had obtained the external design from several documents.
