Hello!
I have a question about the MFA consumption display.
The vehicle is a Golf 3, AFN model, manufactured in 1997, with 200,000 km on the odometer.
I've had it for 6 years, and during the first 3 years of ownership...
the displayed average consumption often differs from the actual consumption.
Fuel consumption was checked during refueling - the result was always a slight overconsumption of approximately 0.2 liters per 100 km compared to the displayed value, which is normal.
So far.
For a few months now, I've been doing some moderate tuning,

.
Approximately 130 horsepower, with mostly moderate power output.
The consumption is noticeably lower than before, which is just strange.
that the displayed reading is now approximately 0.2 liters higher than the actual value.
The last measurement was 4.93 liters, while the display showed 5.2 liters.
The change in the display is, at a rough estimate, at least 8%.
The shallower tread depth of the (worn/needing replacement) tires -
Let's say 3mm instead of 7mm - of course, this creates the illusion of a longer distance.
It might be possible to attribute some responsibility to him, but he could never be held responsible for 8%.
Can tuning or any signs of wear affect...?
responsible for the fuel injection pump due to the changed consumption measurement.
to be?
Thank you for addressing this luxury problem!
Greetings, Klaus.
