Hello rs,

No, based on my previous experiences with VAG-Com, it should work even at speeds above 20 km/h. Could you describe what you mean by "that kind of cable"?

Best regards, Rainer.

I purchased the cable on eBay. It has 3 or 4 pins connected, then a converter box, and finally connects to the laptop.
The logging of the engine electronics worked perfectly.
Only with the ABS system did all the warning lights on the tachometer illuminate initially, and then the measurement was always interrupted at speeds above 20 km/h.

Thank you.

Well, in that case, you should contact the seller of your "cable"...

Can you explain to me – in order to avoid any awkwardness – why the cable stops working with the ABS system at speeds above 20 km/h, but everything else seems to be functioning normally?

Sorry, I have no idea. I experienced a similar issue with my engine control unit; the connection would drop as the RPM increased.
The fault was with the laptop's software configuration.
Therefore, it's best to use a "clean" installation of Windows, meaning a freshly installed system without any other programs running in the background (such as antivirus software).

Best regards, Rainer.
