Traffic alerts keep drivers awake

Traffic announcements are intended to keep drivers alert.

The often quite boring and mostly fully automated late-night programs of private television channels are intended to help prevent drivers from falling asleep at the wheel in the future. To achieve this, specific music tracks with activated voice recognition will be broadcast regularly and without prior notice. However, drivers should ensure that they have pressed the traffic information button on their car radio before starting their journey.

The music titles, which are sent with an identification signal, will be played by the car radio at a higher volume. However, only individual tracks should be played loudly to avoid habituation. It is also conceivable to broadcast an announcement every hour that encourages drivers to take a break.

Since home devices typically do not process traffic radio broadcasts, there is no reason to assume that it will disturb people sleeping and listening to the radio at home. Furthermore, this additional function is completely cost-neutral from a programming perspective, as the traffic information feature can be fully automated, just like the rest of the program.

Hi,

nur weil es ein paar Leute nicht schaffen, dann Pause zu machen, wenn sie müde sind, haben alle anderen wieder Arbeit (Radiolautstärke verstellen, Ferkehrsfunk ganz abstellen und dann vergessen, wieder zu aktivieren).
Es gab mal einen Radiosender, der hat in aller Ruhe nach dem "Peep" mit dem Verkehrsfunk angefangen.
Teilweise erschrecke ich richtig, wenn mitten in der Nach mitten im Satz das Radio voll losbrüllt. Wenn man da auf der Bundesstraße bei 70 km/h ist und davor die Lautstärke auf der AB bei der Verkehrsdurchsage noch hochgedreht hat, dann klingt das so, als sei einem gerade ein Reh auf's Dach geflogen.
