I'm also currently having some issues with the auxiliary heater and its remote control.

I drive an A4 Avant with engine code BRD. How do I pair/connect it?

What exactly are you trying to do? The process of enabling component protection involves using adaptation channel 81; for specific details, please refer to the tooltip in VCDS.

My remote control is no longer working, and I wanted to re-pair it. That's why I also joined the other thread, because it essentially deals with the same issue, but for an A4.

I bought VCDS from you a few years ago, and it has served me very well. I need to find those tooltips.
