Golf 4 1.9 TDI 4Motion: Starting Problems

"For about a month now, I've been having a problem with my Golf 4 AJM 4M that it starts very poorly, whether it's cold or warm. I've noticed that I no longer hear the fuel pump "whirring" when I turn the ignition on."

"Also, I occasionally experience extreme hesitations when I'm riding uphill at a low RPM, which wasn't happening before."

"Yesterday, I replaced the pre-pump with another one, but the same problems persist. Additionally, I disconnected the fuel line leading to the diesel filter and tried to start the engine, but no diesel is coming through."

Of course, the error memory is empty.
