'Does anyone have any experience regarding the resistance value? Is the resistance range often specified here the same for all VW TDI engines, or can it vary?' Thank you in advance for any answers.

Hi.

The 10cTuning system is generally applicable to all engines with the VP 37 injection pump that have an HDK control cam (test: approximately 6 ohms can be measured between pin 1-2 and 2-3 of the pump connector).
The most common types are the 66 and 81 kW TDI models.

I think the power supplies for the individual motors are probably quite similar, so a 2 kΩ potentiometer (or a 1 kΩ potentiometer with diodes) should likely be able to control all of the motors.

However, with the PD or VP 44 (on the V6 engine), there's no way to achieve that kind of 10c tuning.
