HELLO EVERYONE,

I've owned an Audi A6 TDI with 85 kW for a year.
THE OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE EXCEEDS 130 DEGREES AT FULL LOAD (180-200+), BUT RETURNS TO NORMAL WHEN DRIVING SLOWER.
'HOW HIGH CAN IT GO? CAN I DRIVE IT AT THAT SPEED FOR A LONG TIME (ON THE AUTOBAHN)?'
WOULD IT BE NECESSARY TO UPGRADE THE OIL COOLER (FOR AN A6-AEL WITH 103 kW)?
I would like to install another chip (for use in a basement).
DOES ANYONE HAVE A COMPARISON?

GREETINGS, FRITZ.

Hello from South Africa.

My German is not very good.

'Oil temperatures of 130 degrees Fahrenheit shouldn't be a problem. I would assume Audi is using an oil with a synthetic base.'
Oil: BMW states that oil temperatures of 130 degrees Celsius are not a problem; however, above that temperature, an oil cooler should be installed.

Best regards, Werner.
