1Z: Drive with disconnected boost control valve?

Hi.

I read the article about turbocharger boost pressure.

Here's a follow-up question:

Will driving with the connector unplugged from the control valve clear the error memory?

Is the valve, when not powered, actually set to the standard wastegate pressure, so that the turbo regulates to 0.6 bar?
or
It's relying on outside air -> The turbo is working at full capacity (potentially dangerously).

And what about the error memory?

Because the MSTG (presumably a system or device) wants to maintain a pressure of 0.9 bar, it controls the valve accordingly, but it detects that only 0.6 bar is being achieved.

So, it will get annoyed .

See the error database. But where is the problem?

A diagnostic system is definitely recommended, and it's especially helpful when you know where the error messages are originating from.
