I have a question.

Are the fuel injectors of the AAT engine the same as those of the AEL icon_question.gif?

Hi,
No, they are not.
Try it at http://www.bosch-automotive.com/ecat-online/.
Here are the part numbers.

Regards,

Olli.

The AEL, unlike the AAT, has 5-hole nozzles.

Hi,
Late correction: The AEL nozzles with five holes have a more rounded bore design, which provides higher flow rates while maintaining the same atomization quality. They both have five holes.

Hi!

So, theoretically, you should be able to swap the AAT (Airflow Temperature) sensors with the AEL (Air-Fuel Ratio) sensors to potentially achieve a slight increase in performance, right?

Does anyone happen to have a photo of an AAT and an AEL piston?

Best regards,

Andi.

Of course, the Audi brochure from 1994/95 didn't go into much detail about the shape of the pistons. They are more likely to fit in the A6's AAT (air intake manifold) than in the Audi 100's.
