Please help!
My Ferrari, which uses heating oil, has the following problems!

1 Sometimes a restless lesson (cold).
2. Weak start, at low RPM, proper turbo boost, wasn't like this before!
3 Durchgang has become worse.
4 Slight decrease in top speed.

LMM has been replaced several times (also due to water in the air filter box !!), but there is no change.
Also, another great problem: In heavy rain, the engine sucks in water.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me!
At VW (Holland), it's already been 2 months.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,

What is the model year and engine code of your car?
Has the error log been read out yet? If so, please post the codes here.
Tschüss

I would advise you not to worry about it... take the car to the dealer (I hope he still has the warranty) and tell him to fix it... if he can't, ask him again to solve the problem... if he still can't, tell him that you will be handing the whole matter over to your lawyer after the next unsuccessful attempt, and that you insist on a resolution...

Hello Michael II, The error memory has been read, no errors found. Model 2002, Engine identification code was ARJ or ARN, I don't remember exactly. I believe there are only two engine identification codes for the 150 TDI. Come take a look when you want.

Hi Nicolaus, I don't want to go that far (hire a lawyer) just yet, and I've already had a change of car. The last Golf 115 was returned, and I was able to choose a new one. But it was a struggle, I can tell you! I think they will manage to solve it, hopefully icon_wink.gif

Thank you for your responses.

Greetings

Hello,

I'm assuming you have the ARL motor. The following... Engines have a 2.4-liter displacement and produce 165 and 136 horsepower, respectively.
I'll post the target values for the measurement blocks in the error database. That way, you can check the individual values, so that you get a better reference point.

Otherwise, I agree with Nikolaus:
When buying a new car, always stand your ground with the dealer (even if it's difficult).
Tschüss

*digging up an old thread*

Right now, things look the same for me. Have you found anything new on your end?

Greetings

Hi,

PD engines are notoriously sensitive to (actual or reported) lack of air. For example, aging throttle bodies with increased leakage can cause the engine to malfunction and produce smoke. . . icon_confused.gif

The AGR also creates a desired lack of air, which, of course, is a problem when starting the engine or when there is an urgent need for power.

*Speculation mode ON*

"If the AGR (aggressive rate of closure) no longer closes properly (or not quickly enough) over time, this could, in my opinion, at least explain an initial starting weakness or a "new" turbo lag, which would be more noticeable in PDs (gasoline direct injection) due to their sensitivity to air mass, compared to VP-TDIs."

-> Test: Check if the air mass is correct when starting the engine using VAGCOM. . . .

*Speculation mode OFF*

Unfortunately, the loss of throughput and Vmax doesn't quite fit this theory... icon_sad.gif
