Hello or Houston, I have a problem!
'In my Ford Galaxy TDI with 90 horsepower that has been chipped to 115 horsepower, the power is reduced when accelerating fully in the higher gears (4th and 5th), starting around 3500-4500 RPM.'
It's not the ultimate emergency program, as the car gets stuck at 120 km/h.
I suspect the boost pressure control valve.
Not as extreme in the lower levels. Does anyone have a clue?
Best regards, Jörn.
Hello!
The engine power cut out intermittently between 3500 and 4500 RPM. Today, I replaced the charge air cooler control valve and all the hoses. The vacuum hose and reservoir on the turbocharger were full of oil. I cleaned everything thoroughly and reinstalled it properly. It seems to be working okay after my first test drive.
P.S. Of course, I checked the forum!
Thank you for the answers.
Best regards, Jörn.
