Hello.
I would like to know if anyone knows what changes I need to make if I install new injectors from an ASV engine (which open at 300 bar) into an AFN engine (which operates at 190 bar). Will I experience a loss of power?
Best regards, Georg.

You only need to adjust the start of injection; it will be delayed due to the higher opening pressure.
See the technical article on pump adjustment.
Otherwise, there are no changes.

However, the ASV (Automatic Shut-off Valve) would have to open at 220 bar, at least for the first stage.
I always thought that EURO2 TDI engines would fail at 190 bar, and EURO3 engines at 220 bar.
This would be confirmed here.
However, this does not change the fact that the start of the vaccination campaign was postponed.

You only need to correct the injection start time, which is shifted later due to the higher opening pressure.
See the technical article on pump adjustment.
Otherwise, there are no changes.

'Quick question: I have the 'large nozzles' (T4) installed in my AFN - should I also move the injection point forward here, since they open later (220 bar instead of 190 bar)?'

DJ.

@ DJ
You can check where the start of the spray has ended up.
Donalexo had recorded the start of the injection process, initially with small doses and then with larger ones.
Due to early irrigation of the young plants, they were developing at the same rate as the larger ones.

Okay.
How do I measure that?
