DIY GRA for A6 2.5TDI (C4) - Build/Pinout?

Hello everyone,

Before my next vacation, with 2800 trailer miles, I finally want to install the cruise control. I don't want to use the original blinker levers, but instead mount the switches in a free space on the center console. Unfortunately, I can't find any wiring diagrams for the blinker levers (only for the gasoline engine with a separate control unit, which is much more complicated). I have the following:
The pins 24, 30, 45, and 48 on the MSG are inputs for the GRA switch. Furthermore, a cable from fuse 64 is required.
Now, I'm guessing that the cable from the fuse provides 12V when the ignition is on and must be connected to the individual inputs.
Which pins/combinations will achieve what?
The functions to be switched are: GRA on, record, and fix. Can someone please tell me which pins correspond to these functions or provide a suitable wiring diagram?

Thank you, but I think that's not quite right.

I would like to install just one button in my AEL, to turn it on and maintain the speed. Does anyone know which pins of the control part I need to connect it to?

sat24 wanted the wiring diagram for the GRA lever, and it's the same for many Audis.

After you said that you were also interested, I posted it.

If you need a wiring diagram for the control unit, I recommend going to VAG and having them copy the diagram for you! However, these diagrams don't have the "On-In-Out-Out" labeling, which is why you need the diagram I mentioned above.

Also, you won't be able to solve this with just a button. You'll at least need a switch.

I had actually given up, but since something is happening here now, I've been looking around again.
A switch (button) for Set should be sufficient. I've also found a wiring diagram.

I would say to connect pins 24 and 30 on the MSG (ev. also to 12V [Kl15/Pin55], I don't know where pin 39 comes from in the diagram), and to use a switch to connect to pin 48. Anyone who still needs the 'Record' function can add a second switch to pin 45 in parallel. The 'Stop' function doesn't seem to be needed.
Can someone confirm this and explain the connection of pin 5 on the original switch?

No, I didn't try that. I only wrote what I could read from the schematic:

Where XXX is probably 12V. If it gets warm again, I'll go back to the car and test it.
