Can someone help me? I'm trying to access the control units (ECUs) using VAG-Com with a USB-to-serial adapter on my laptop (which doesn't have a serial port), but only the engine and central comfort control units are accessible.
What am I doing wrong, or is there anything I can change so that I can also open the other STG files? I would be grateful for any help.

Hmm,
Since you are interacting with two control units, it seems to be working in principle.
What other devices are connected to the K-line of your car (or what kind of car is it, anyway)?
Which version of VAG-COM are you using? (When performing such tests, you should definitely use a version that has not been illegally modified.)

Hello,

Have you already checked the homepage of Uwe Ross? These issues have already been sufficiently addressed there. If you encounter any further problems, you can also contact Uwe directly (he has helped me with many things).

Hello,

What does VAG-Com display in the top left corner?
What settings do you have?

It's strange that Uwe can't help you. Do you have a...?
licensed version?
Tschüss

Why don't you contact Uwe Ross?

On his website, it's described which interface adapters are compatible. If yours doesn't work, then you're simply out of luck. What did you expect?
That the serial timing improves due to the additional USB stack and the hardware?

Best regards, Rainer.
