Hello everyone.
Does anyone perhaps have the login code for a Passat 3B?
Reaching an adaptation level of 81 kW - I would like to...
increase the idle speed (currently 800 rpm) because the...
It seems like things are progressing slowly.
Start!
I have the Technical Bulletin 96-02 from June 1996.
from Volkswagen America, which indicates the logincode 01283 for all vehicles with OBDII - Unfortunately, this code doesn't work!
Sure, here's the translation:
'Thank you in advance.'
Jürgen.

Thank you, Michael II.
The login code is great - (I'm already in) - but unfortunately, the procedure isn't as applicable as described in the VW Technical Bulletin - it's either too old or only intended for the American market.
On Adaptation Channel 1, I have a value of 32768 – somewhere I once read that this value is used for changes of...
subtract or add specific amounts from this value.
must. Do you have any information about, or regarding the procedure for increasing the idle speed?
By the way, my wife's Passat AFN has 800 rpm. My Golf AHF also has the value 32768 in adaptation under channel 1, but it has an idle speed of 915 rpm - which is almost a little high - but it runs well when starting!
Have a nice day, and thank you in advance.
Jürgen.

Hello Jürgen,
If you increase the value (I increased it in increments of 10), that will also work.
increase the idle speed.
Depending on the version of the control unit, there are different minimum and maximum values.
Just give it a try...
If you search for "adaptation channels" in the archive, you will find even more. Tschüss
