Golf 1K1 DPF, BAG to week 35.04, misfire at approximately 3500 RPM (Solution)

Error code 16475 – Fuel metering valve N290 – "Short circuit to ground."
Similarly, the fault may manifest as a brief jerk or hesitation from the engine at 3500 RPM.

Cause:
The error is caused by a defect in the fuel pump control unit.

Solution:
In case of a complaint, install the fuel pump control unit with part number: 1K0 906 093 D.
