Ok, ok... Icey and Martin have won.

I thought I had read something similar in the Passat forum, but I must have been mistaken.

(Now that I've been thinking about it more, it was probably something to do with FSH and the camera, IIRC.)

The old FSH and the camera have been ruled out as the cause. However, this is no longer the case.

I just find it annoying that the Audi configurator says that.

Also the PR codes "sound" like this:

8N2 Continuous Variable Windscreen Wiper Intermittent Switch Control
vs.
8N7 Windshield Wiper Intermittent Switch with Light/Rain Sensor

Now, one can also suspect that the Adaptive colleague with 8N2 is doing all of this through the camera, and that this fact is simply not reflected in the PR code.

EDIT: The Audi salesperson I "interviewed" earlier said, "Nope, they have a rain sensor, definitely."
