If something in my post is incorrect (thumbs down?), please comment on it with a factual statement so that everyone can learn from it!
1.) It is correct that, like TE, the way this person "abused" the wave has caused a technical defect.
He probably even "screwed" with the internal Torx XZN 10 left-handed, and held the large one in place (meaning tightened, instead of loosened)

2.) A specialized tool should only be used for its intended purpose, and that does not include using an impact wrench.
But sometimes, there's just no other way.
