Hi Rainer,

I'm already sending you my best wishes for your project.

I think that the market icon_twisted.gif will continue to grow on its own, facilitated by the work of the workshops .
You just need to cut off a piece that's large enough.

You just need to "simply" cut off a sufficiently large piece of it. icon_lol.gif
Okay, that's a valid point!

Hi Rainer,

I second Ulf's wishes... and I wish you good luck as well!

I particularly like the idea of including the forum's schematics as a "0 Euro" link, because, in my opinion, explicitly stating that they are free is a significant sign of professionalism.

Best regards,

Jan.

From my end as well: *fingers crossed*

You have a large field in front of you that needs to be cultivated.

How about products other than VW/Audi? Have you considered anything else?

No, to be honest, I'm wearing the VW glasses, and I have absolutely no idea about the other diagnostic systems of different vehicle brands. icon_redface.gif
It's definitely worth considering...

@joergs: Your nice circuits with a microcontroller and display might be suitable for an online shop. icon_wink.gif

Best regards, Rainer.

Greetings, Rainer

'If it's finished and working, I'd love to see it!'

Regarding the other vehicles, I think you'll have no choice but to deal with them. However, it's definitely challenging to stay focused and maintain an overview. Above all, having reliable expertise is extremely important!

What icon_evil.gif might make your life easier is that, somehow, all vehicles will soon be required to have OBD-II. This gives you a unified protocol, potentially 3 adapter versions, and a unified software. You just have to see to what extent the values outputted are suitable for a detailed diagnosis and can be used for that purpose. In my OBD-II tinkering, I have already delved deeper into this topic and have come to the conclusion that it might not be enough for me! Why should a vehicle manufacturer provide detailed insight into its deepest internals via an all-around tool?
But if you like, we can discuss this in more detail via email or private message! I think it would go too far for this thread.

Hi Rainer,

Here's the translation:

Heretical question:
Where is your workplace being exported to?
Mine was exported to the Czech Republic about a year ago, and it will be coming back to me in the next few months... icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

I wish you all the best with your endeavor, and I hope you don't experience anything close to the frustration I'm currently dealing with regarding "moonlighting" or having a side business.
