As far as I know, this component only has the task of controlling the AGR (Abgasrückführung) rate and doesn't influence the air-fuel mixture... is that correct?

The symptoms mentioned, including increased fuel consumption, insufficient top speed, and excessive soot, were already present before.

Hi, I'm not entirely clear on that either. I've read the documentation about it, and it's described in a very vague way there as well. Control and mixture adjustment.
Okay, so far as I understand, it's only relevant for the AGR.
