Hi everyone, I'm back.
Okay, so I completely replaced the right intake manifold module along with the connecting rod; there was a lot of play in it, but I reused the same actuator motor.
As far as I can tell, everything is working fine there.
The left stick is almost new; it was replaced about a year ago and has barely been used.
"Yesterday I tested the car again, but unfortunately there's still a loss of power. However, once it worked perfectly in third gear – no loss of power like last time, two weeks ago."
1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th gears are all good. 2nd gear is okay, but the 3rd gear always seems to have a power loss at higher RPMs (3000-4000).
Wieso nur in den Gängen? Transmission problem?
Either electrical sensors or turbochargers from BR-TURBO are useless, or something related to fuel supply is the problem.

If it doesn't occur with the original software, then the modification is useless.

Okay, I'm performing an actuator test (also known as a "live data" or "component test") on the engine control unit (ECU) in a cold state. For example, with the VTG actuator (J724), I'm seeing values of 3.5V at 78.91% and 1.34V at 19.53%. However, after about 1 minute, an error occurs and the test stops automatically, as shown in the photo. This also happens with tests for the throttle valve or glow plugs.
This doesn't happen with a transmission control unit.
Sometimes, when plugging in the OBD adapter, there is no power or connection. It may only establish a connection after repeated attempts and moving it around. The contact at the OBD port seems to be quite loose.

-> The manufacturer of your OBD device might want to know what's going on with it.
Ross-Tech (VCDS) and CGSULIT support is available here. The manufacturer knows the specifications of your system, not me.
I've seen contact pins in OBD sockets that have shifted backwards, which then caused poor connections.
However, this has nothing to do with your problems with the engine control unit (ECU) software, and I can only repeat myself: if the car functions correctly with the original software, then the problem is the modified software.
I have written this several times already, and I will not repeat it again.
Best regards, Rainer.
