Powerbox Scoda Octavia

It's a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI 140hp!
He installed this power box, and no one knows what it actually does, or what manufacturer it is.
He wants to buy the car, and the previous owner also doesn't know who the part came from. He supposedly got it from a friend, and he supposedly claims it will save on fuel.

Das Mißtrauen ist schon berechtigt. Diese Boxen verfälschen prinzipiell nur die Eingangssignale, welche das STG zur Weiterverarbeitung benötigt.

Ein vernünftiges Tuning ist so eigentlich nicht möglich, weil man mit diesen Dingern keinen Einfluß auf die im STG abgelegten Kennfelder hat, dessen Anpassung unabdingbar ist, was gescheite Resultate und Haltbarkeit betrifft.

Ich würde das Ding entfernen und bei Bedarf gibt es was Gescheites bei unserm Hausherrn.
