Hello,
Following Donalexo's previous report about the 205 injectors, here's my (small) report about the 216 injectors installed in a Golf 3 that I know.
Okay, here are my subjective experiences (from a ride-along):
Regarding performance:
The engine is barely recognizable; this conversion was definitely worth it!
The torque increase, especially in the lower RPM range, is really impressive.
Unfortunately, the car is currently unregistered, and I've never been able to find a suitable route to perform the Ulfschen drag test here in the city.
Subjectively, I would say that the extra performance gained from changing the nozzle is roughly equivalent to that of a very finely tuned 10-cent adjustment.
With the additional 10 cent of power boost activated, there's an increase in performance, but it starts to smoke heavily (of course: too much diesel, not enough air).
Regarding the Vmax:
That's also something where the maximum speed, according to the speedometer, has increased from 190 to 210

.
The engine revs up much more easily now; with the previous tuning, I could only reach a maximum of 200 km/h. At that speed, the RPM is around 4300. Going downhill, it goes even faster, reaching the beginning of the redline, which corresponds to approximately 220 km/h according to the speedometer. I installed an ASD transmission.
Regarding the oil temperature:
Since the replacement, the temperature has increased by about 10 degrees under full load. After 10 minutes of continuous full throttle, it reaches about 132 degrees, and I'm not comfortable pushing it that hard for longer. I don't know if it will go any higher...
Edit: Oil temperature measured in the oil pan!
For stuttering:
I couldn't detect any increased jerking or stuttering in any engine speed range, not even when driving at very low RPMs.
To Russian:
It makes a very slight rumbling sound with the large nozzles, although I had imagined it would be much, much louder. You can't see the reflection of a Russian car in the daytime mirror, only at night in the headlights of the following car... A modern Mercedes emits more smoke than this Golf.
With an additional 10 cents, you can darken areas

.
For consumption:
Unfortunately, I can't say anything, as I've been having more fun with the car since then, and it's being driven faster.
EDIT:
Engine running noise:
I mean that the engine is now (especially when it's cold) a bit louder and makes a harsher knocking sound.
A slight twisting of the nozzle stems didn't achieve much...
Other contextual factors:
AGR active, Golf base model (roughly equivalent to Ulf's old 'Baby'

). Tire size: 185/65 R14 WR.
Okay, I hope I've shed some light on that now!
Best regards,
