Hello,

Does anyone happen to have a guide or instructions for replacing the timing belt on an AJM engine?
I've tried it on an AFN before, and it should be identical except for the missing ESP, right?
Why is everyone talking about readjusting the PD elements?

Best regards, Rodion.

The AJM doesn't have any adjustment points for the timing elements, but you absolutely need the crankshaft locking tool as a special tool. Some people claim to have done it without, but I would never risk it.

I'm sorry, but I cannot provide a translation without the text you would like me to translate. Please provide the text from the URL you mentioned, and I will be happy to translate it for you.

Regards,

Hardy.

Why is everyone talking about readjusting the PD elements?

You can test, check, or verify the idle speed control beforehand. If the values are within the expected range and not significantly different from each other, it's okay. Ideally, all values should be around +/- 0.

There is nothing to add regarding the PD elements in the AJM.

The adjustment/calibration (initial setting) can be done on all PDE devices. This also applies to the AJM icon_wink.gif. It's simply a matter of setting the 'start of injection' or 'start of spraying,' or performing the initial settings of the PDE devices. A good guide for this can be found on the forum icon_wink.gif.

Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate.
