Hello,
I already posted about having warm start problems with my X17dtl, and the engine keeps going into limp mode.
Multiple error readings indicated a P1335 code, which relates to the engine speed signal.
Okay, I replaced the sensor, but the problem persists, and the same error code is still being displayed.
I can't find any loose connections or broken wires either. Furthermore, I have the impression that the emergency mode seems to occur more frequently as the tank gets emptier and when taking sharp turns...??? The fuel tank has already been checked.
I'm really stuck and don't know what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas?
Best regards.
Toto. |

"Can you completely rule out a broken cable? Are there any issues with the sensor's mounting or within the sensor itself? I'm sure you've already considered these, but try checking the sensor cables using the wiring diagram; a loose connection could be the reason for the limp mode during cornering. However, the issue with the fuel tank is strange. Is there a pump, like in some direct injection systems, that only runs briefly when starting if the fuel level is below a certain point (e.g., half-empty)? Is the ventilation system working correctly (have you tried driving with the fuel cap open – be careful!!)? Are all the lines sealed?" There might be a temperature-controlled return line on the Difi, perhaps due to issues with the seal. |
