Looking for a diagnostic tool?

I would like to build my own diagnostic connector. I have the circuit diagram and would also get the rest, except for the connector. But where can I get the actual connector from? To make the connection between the laptop and the vehicle! Because the connector is a custom-made part from VW, or something like that. I've never seen a connector like that anywhere else that you could buy.


Does anyone have an idea where I can get a Rohling connector?

The original connectors apparently are hardly available.

Among the local forum users, the pragmatic solution has prevailed, as far as I know, for those who build their own systems:

Tap the 4 wires located close to the $%^°?**&$! - connector, install a common connection (SubD or similar) and connect the appropriate counterpart to the adapter.

Keep the cable for the DIY connector long enough that it can be easily stored when not in use - and, of course, insulate all connection points to prevent short circuits.
